Soccer Shots for 3,4, and 5 Year Olds

Johnson City Indoor Soccer is excited to partner with Soccer Shots to provide an excellent soccer foundation for your young ones this Holiday Season.

Soccer Shots Sessions will be played between 12 and 2 each Saturday.  More details will be provided once players are assigned to their session.

What is Soccer Shots?

Soccer Shots in an intro-to-soccer program that impacts over 450,000 children each year across America. At Soccer Shots, we are driven by the belief that a positive experience with sports can make a lasting impact on a child’s life.

What makes Soccer Shots different?

The foundation of Soccer Shots is our relentless commitment to providing best-in-class coaching, communication and curriculum. When you participate in a Soccer Shots program, you can feel confident that the person coaching your child has met our strict coaching standards and has been trained in the use of developmentally appropriate techniques. Through positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active.

What can I expect from a Soccer Shots session?

At Soccer Shots, your child will develop his or her cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills in a small group setting. Our curriculum is developed in alignment with state early childhood education standards so your child will learn from a curriculum that is built for his or her age group.

Our sessions have a weekly theme, and include a warm-up, skill and character word of the week, fun games, and goal scoring. We will always keep you informed on what your child is learning, and we are committed to responding to your questions in a timely, professional manner.

What do I need to participate?

Soccer Shots provides all of the equipment needed at each of our sessions. Your child should wear activity-appropriate clothing. Bringing your own water bottle is encouraged. Cleats and shin guards are not necessary. When you enroll your child in Soccer Shots, your child will receive a jersey. Jerseys are distributed via mail and you will receive tracking information once the jersey has shipped to your address.

Do parents need to be involved?

It is our objective to establish a safe and positive environment for your child to develop soccer skills, learn positive character traits and have fun! We believe this works best when children trust and enjoy being with their Soccer Shots coach.

Parents or guardians are not required to be on the field; however, know that for the first few weeks, you are welcome to come onto the field to encourage or help your child as they adjust to the session. Parents will only be expected to actively help if their child needs extra assistance staying on “Soccer Island” (inside the field area.)
